I am interested in working with the city to curtail its spending and fight against discrimination. I am a client of the Washington State Services for the blind. I worked to get adaptive equipment into libraries and colleges, and bank account information in Braille. I have dealt with discrimination and have been a part of our social welfare programs. I am a graduate of the University of Washington, have worked at the Attorney General's Office and am married with two children. I feel that a city needs to elect council members that represent all sectors. I believe my background is different from those council members that have come before me. I promise I will do my best to work with the citizens of Seattle on areas most important to them.
